So far in "around the world in 80 days", fogg has just began to start his trip. His friends put bets that he cannot do it, but the book has a logical explanation of how its possible. He also brings along his helper and friend. Although I wasn't able to read lately, I plan on to during the break. This was all I managed to read
Of the many classics I read, this is one of my favorites. Last year, I read 20,000 leagues under the sea, and lord of the rings (all of them), so I suppose this is a good way to catch up on my classic reading. I have been enjoying the few pages of this so far, and I tend to enjoy the older works of literature. Hopefully, I'll be able to finish reading this book soon. I'll need to read more, and faster

Right now, I'm reading around the world in 80 days. The synopsis is Phileas Fogg, a man who lives in England, and lives his life very simply. He has a lot of money and no one knows where he got it, and every day he has this "same old same old" routine every day. It never changes either, and he is perfectly used to his life the way it is. He is a part of a club which many people say it is impossible to travel the world, even though he has predicted that it is possible to travel around the world in 80 days. him and his helper begin to travel, and they are not only on their way but also being hunted. this is the kind of book for the adventurous type, but really I think anyone could read it regardless if they were to enjoy it or not. This is a historical fiction novel, and I do not usually read this type of genre, but it was written by Jules Verne, and he has written several classics.

summer reading project
Over the summer for my reading project, I read a book called "candyfreak" by Steve Almond. It is about a narrative about a man (himself) who travels the world in search of great chocolate and him simply living his life. throughout the novel, he explains about his life, and where he has gone, and primarily emphasizes his childhood during the first part of the book. The rest explains his life and personal experiences.
As well as him traveling place to place throughout the novel, he experiences much conflict. in the novel, it explains how his parents did not pay attention to him, how his wife left him, and how he had trouble in school many years before. After he went out into the world, life became much better for him and he began to find his love in candy, particularly chocolate. he has visited factories and other manufacturers to find how it was made, and explains his trip in parts of the novel.
Without spoiling the ending, hopefully this was an informative explanation of the novel. In the novel, it does contain some strong language so those who are easily offended should take caution with this suggestion.
